Painting A Bike?
I have a Marin Hawk Hill and love it, but I really want to paint the frame. It's a dark blue matte color and I really want a yellow bike....it'll go faster lol Just wondering how much of a pain in the butt it would be to paint the frame? I can strip the bike down to the frame, but I know after painting, I'll have to have someone rebuild it as I'm not that handy at putting things back together, although I do a bang up job of taking things apart LOL Is it just too much of a pain and should I forget it? Also, if I did do it, should I go with a powdercoat? A buddy of mine owns a body shop and volunteered to paint it with auto body paint and then a clear coat. Not sure what would be better. Anyone ever done this? I'm just wondering and throwing ideas out there...Thanks!

It all depends on how much you want to spend... I only spent $125 to have my frame stripped and powder coated:
