Not really. Many oil producing nations subsidize their gas costs so we are far from being the cheapest. Iran, for instance, pays less than a dollar a gallon. Same with China, I believe. But as far as Western and European countries, yes, we do have a comparatively low price.

unfortunately, we're one of the largest consumers only second to china.

I believe Brazil payed 7 cents a gallon in 2005. Not sure what the current statistics are.

My LBS Doesn't hire kids like me. The guy that works there actually had to go to school to work there all kinds of bike maintance and stuff, he also worked as a mech. for a pro race team

and BTW I bough shimano m520's last night.
