get rid of my Klein Mantra??

i was at a bike shop today with the 2002 mantra i got used at another bike shop less than a year ago and the dude there was telling me to sell my mantra as quickly as possible since they are apt to break and when they do the parts are now impossible to get.

Ive really been enjoying this bike and i got it used for $500 with some nice parts but im new to mountain biking and i haven't ridden another full suspension bike before. so, my question is, am i missing out by having this bike? is it really impossible to get parts for? what do people think about this bike? by the way, im 5' 8" 145 lbs. and ride medium intensity trails but i do want room to grow. thanks in advance!

...I guess sarcasm doesn't transfer well over the internet.

Just don't trade the bike in and lose money, if at all possible... I'd be inclined to keep the bike, if you like it and it fits you, but the saleman might be right in that replacement bearings/bushings might be hard to find later on down the road...
