Today's Hike and Bike

Today's hike and bike was so much fun (plus I haven't been posting many ride pictures lately) that I figured it should get it's own thread.

Went out for the ride with a couple of buddies...gained about 2500 feet during a 2 mile push to the top. Went through dry conditions, mud, ice, a bit of snow and deep snow. Great weather and an amazing day for riding and sessioning certain section...here are the pics (I forgot my camera but Chris brought his...yay)...

Me and Chris near the start of the push:

A little higher up...more snow...

Further up and I'm getting warmer

Anyone who says that pushing a bike up a snow covered mountain isn't a real workout can PISS OFF!

Daggett brought sweet and sour chicken and sushi

Monster will make Chris ride like Sam Hill

Pinner!

I got new wider bars...can you tell?

Can't complain about the views

I think I was the only one who could take the pictures at the right time...everything of me was either late or early!

I think this corner made for the best pics of the day...

And I looked the best drifting around the corner!

Flexing with a sweater on is pointless...

I haven't ridden my big bike in a couple months. Way to make me even more sad.

Nice pics by the way!

When are you coming out to ride this stuff?

We've been hitting the skatepark a lot lately (never take the camera) but the main shuttle road was open today so we should be hitting those soon. Plus we'll have a guy taking pictures of the snow-cross race next Sunday. So more pics should be upcoming.

Nice photos. You have a downright disgusting lack/thinness of snow there.

Then you would be sickened by disgust by the total lack of snow in NJ.

In fact saw my first 12 robins of the season today.

You're right; I am disgusted. You guys must have gotten missed by the late stuff that walloped NY?

In town where I work it's finally going away; but head anywhere out of town and there is still a foot+ and being stubborn.
