WTT: my chris king MTB wheels for your chris king road wheels

hey all - my first post in the MTB forums. i ususally hang out in framebuilders and FGSS.

anyway, i've got a pretty good to very good condition chris king mtb wheelset that i'd like to trade. silver classic hubs, 135 spacing, non disc. DT swiss spokes laced to gold anodized mavic 217 rims. rims are straight and true, there are no seized spokes. everything checks out a-ok. does not include skewers, cassette or lockring.

i'm looking for a chris king 700cc non-disc road (130 spacing) wheelset in the same condition. i'm not really particular about spoke or rim brand. ideally they'd be tubular rims, but i'll take what i can get. 135 spacing also works, as long as it's 700cc.

i have numerous trade references from bikeforums, 99.8% positive feedback on ebay, and all that sort of thing.

send a pm, or contact me at ported.cycles at gmail dot com

more detailed and better photos are available if you're really interested.

non disc mtb hubs are a tough sell now adays. Especially high end.

I'm not sayin there won't be some retro grouch who wants em for his fat chance, but a very tough mkt.

for sure. i'm thinking that i'll probably just have to end up swapping out the spokes and rims and building a new set 700 wheels.

but come on people, i know you're out there!
