Waterproof the bottom of your mountain bike shoes

Has anyone found an effective way to waterproof the bottom of their mountain bike shoes?
- water coming in from the clips area.

Thanks
Mike

Shimano has a water proof seal in theirs.
Try maybe adding an adhesive rubber flap under the sole insert.
or apply something like a silicon sealant between the clean and bottom of shoe, and around the bolts and all that.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

The shims that come with Crank Brothers pedals do an excellent waterproofing job.

silicone caulking pumped in works well. just make sure your cleat is exactly where you want it!
