I would go 32 (and I am). I like that the wider rim will hold the casing out more 'naturally' to the size of a wider tire. Weight penalty, though, will be about 5 oz. per rim

However, if you're only going to run 2.35s, you could certainly get away with it handily. The 28 should still be plenty strong. Your intended 'most-of-the-time' use/tire?

For whistler you're gonna want the 32s.
