Specialized stumpjumper vs Intense spider vpp

Hi there,

I have been out of mountain biking for a few years and things have changed. My LBS has a leftover 2007 stumpjumper expert and a new 08 Intense Spider Sram. They are both the same price. What should i buy?

Intense Spider XVP, those things are sweet and only weigh 26lbs with Mavic Crossrides, no carbon fiber, Stylo cranks and sram x-9
