Tsali conditions
I know some of you guys are around the area so I thought I would ask about the conditions and make sure it wasn't too wet to ride before I took my bike with me on my spring break trip to the Smokey Mountains.

Here's a photo I took two days ago at Thompson... We had a good bit of rain come down over the past couple of days.... One thing someone did on Thompson, though, was dig out all the little standing water pools so they'd drain.
Considering we've had rain 5 days a week for the last 2 months, I wasn't very muddy. I heard Mouse is a different story, though... lots of standing water and downed trees.

When do they turn the hot water for the showers back on at the campsite?

Great it looks like I'll be there on Tuesday so I'll probably ride Thompson and Mouse, the longer I ride the less I have to watch my wife wander around Gattlinburg looking at crap.
I wonder if you NC folks feel the same way about Tsali that we in the Southern IL area feel about the Land Between the Lakes trails. They are fun, fast, easy, well known and popular, but not a very true example of mountain biking in the area.

I look at Tsali as the best place to go single track biking from where I live without having to drive over an hour.
I'm glad the asses on this forum don't go to Tsali. I hate when people bring their bad attitudes to my friendly hometown.
Have a great ride =) I'll be out there somewhere on Tuesday.

one less horse
That sounds like an accurate comparison. In fact, if I were a judgmental ******bag who lived close to there, I would probably ride Tsali more frequently myself.
