2003 Jamis Eureka vs 2003 Specialized P2

I am looking for a bike that I can dirt jump, freeride, and cross country with. Which of these bikes do you think would fit me best

2003 Jamis Eureka: Dirt Jumper 2 forks, Dual 6" Mechanical Hayes Dics Brakes, shimano deore drivetrain, and a short stem, and headset for dirtjumping 3 rings in the front. go to this website to see it https://www.jamisbikes.com

2003 Specialized P2: Awesome Frame, Marzocchi EXR forks, alivio/deore drivetrain, 2 rings in the front with a truvativ rock guard, and a short stem and headset for dirt jumping. Also come with dual hayes mechanical disc brakes 6" rotor in the back and an 8" rotor in the front

In this case I would go for the Jamis. It has a better FORK, and its a little longer than the P2....the P2 felt cramped on me.

That's a toughie.

The Jamis looks like a more versatile bike since it has a larger frame and large chainring for XC/singletrack trail riding, but has the robustness and plush travel of the Dirt Jumpers for getting air.

The P2 has that cool looking frame on it for sure but I question the decision of Specialized to outfit the bike with EXR forks (which seem out of place on a dirt jumping bike).

For all around use, I'd go with the Jamis especially if you are going to ride it for a while. If you're the type of guy who is constantly upgrading his bike, then consider the P2. The frame would have a better resale value, and you could always upgrade the fork down the road.
