2003 Jamis Eureka vs 2003 Specialized P2
I am looking for a bike that I can dirt jump, freeride, and cross country with. Which of these bikes do you think would fit me best

That's a toughie.
The Jamis looks like a more versatile bike since it has a larger frame and large chainring for XC/singletrack trail riding, but has the robustness and plush travel of the Dirt Jumpers for getting air.
The P2 has that cool looking frame on it for sure but I question the decision of Specialized to outfit the bike with EXR forks (which seem out of place on a dirt jumping bike).
For all around use, I'd go with the Jamis especially if you are going to ride it for a while. If you're the type of guy who is constantly upgrading his bike, then consider the P2. The frame would have a better resale value, and you could always upgrade the fork down the road.
