Agreed, the Diamondback has a sweet component mix. The design seems like a solid one, however Klein, look closer, it's not a single pivot but a 4-bar. It is however NOT a HORST 4-bar, meaning the pivot at the drop-out is on the seat stay, not the chain stay. Although this is a good deisgn, it's not fully active like the Horst (The one Specialized holds the patent for) and will produce a bit of brake jacking under hard braking.
The Iron Horse Klein mentioned does license the Horst from Specialized.
A buddy bought the SGS Expert, and it was a killer deal! Nice bike!

Could just be a matter of semantics, but I consider a single pivot to be a bike like the Cannondale Jekyll or Gemini, or the Santa Cruz Bullit.
At least, that's my interpretation of it!

i had a 2001 xts-3.hated it! geometry was all wrong for me and while it did come with a nice package at a nice price it was uncomfortable and i broke the bolt at the top of the rear shock on a smaller than 1' jump at low speed.if it feels comfortable go for it.i am 200 pounds so if you are heavy look elsewhere(imo)i mostly cross country with a little extreme so it depends on what you ride.
diamondback is good stuff just try it out first
