Will road brake levers fit on MTB handlebars?

I don't know why someone would do this, well actually I probably would. Anyway, does anyone know if road brake levers will fit on MTB bars? I think most MTB bars have a smaller diameter as you move from the center bulge of the bar to the ends of the bar. If I am not mistaken, the brake lever area on MTB bars is about 22.2mm, but I'm not sure on that. Anybody know if road brake levers will fit onto MTB bars?

Yes they will fit most bars. Search the "Commuting" forum for more info and photos.
