We're having a devil of a time finding a pair of mtb shoes for her. She wears a 6-1/2 shoe. We've tried various ones...shimano, Spec et al in sizes ranging from 38-39. The problem is that she still feels a bit squished, but only on one foot. The 40's seem too big for her. So we end up picking up a pair that feels okay in the store but ends up not so great later....we're making way too many trips to the LBS for this!

Anyone have a suggestion?
