Rubber replacement for toe spikes?
Anyone make this? I have some Diadora MTB shoes with holes up front for toe spikes. Those holes are occupied by screws, and every time my foot is coming off a step on the screws my foot slips. I don't want to wear the toe spikes either (that's worse). Taking the screws out leaves bare plastic with large holes that water and road crud gets into.
I want basically a rubber screw in stud or tread point to put where the toe spikes go. I've done Google searches to no avail.
Anyone know of anything?

I bet the holes will take soccer studs, which come in a wide variety of heights and materials. Your local soccer shop may be able to help you or suggest something.
