Gps?

If I were to go to tahoe with a bunch of people who knew the area, but I wanted to not feel like a complete idiot, would an edge 305 help in navigation, or would I have to spring for one of the more expensive models?

Do any of you use fancy technology to help keep yourself from getting lost?

Find someone who knows the area. They will always be alot more reliable than some electronic device.

Getting some maps from the local shops helps as well. Tahoe is an awesome place to ride!

I'll be with people who know the area. Also, I'll be sucking wind pretty hard and I'm also sure that they'll get tired of "how much farther, are we there yet?", etc.
