Break question

I have been needing to replace my front brakes on the New dh bike for some time now and I decided to use Hope. I am not to sure about using a brake with the name HOPE on it, I mean, that has got to be some kind of omen does it not? I mean, will I be HOPing I stop when I need to?
Also, the lines have this steel looking braid around them, wont that make them super heavy?

Any help would be good and here are the breaks I will be using...:thumb:

Is that the vented rotor?

Naw, the rear is a floater w/o the vents and my front hub uses a Rohloff bolt pattern so Hope had to custom machine me a 3mm solid rotor. I tried to talk 'em into machining a vented rotor/carriage that would fit the hub but they said no, damn liability. ;)

Keep Hope alive....

You've got to be careful with those breaks. Otherwise, they'll brake, and you certainly wouldn't want your breaks to be braking on you before you've even had the chance to brake them in.

Thanks for the advice.:thumb:
However I do believe the FORMULA for stopping is being an AVID believer in yer breaks and having a bit of HOPE that they don't brake.;)

I love the performance of my Hope Mono M4's. I absolutely love them. You're going to love your Moto's I'll bet.

But the backup provided by the Australian distributor Speed Shop is ludicrous and beyond frustrating. Sent my brake off for new seals, came back full of air and in need of a bleed.

I have tried almost all the TOP manus out their for brakes and always come back to Hope. Been running Hope since '02 and the Motos have a shyte load more stopping power then the previous year Hopes so I do agree, I will love 'em.

Cool thing about Hope is I can call them directly and get things worked out, their CS here in the states is great.
