help for protecting part theft?

So I have a 2009 cannondale f5 with bb5 breaks. Well someone took my grips and my whole front break. And the lever. Thank god the shifter didn't get removed. But any ideas to prevent this from happening again?

Where are you parking your bike? I'm assuming this was while commuting to work or school? Park elsewhere, bring it inside, or pick up a beater bike to commute on. Fill in the allen head bolt holes with silicone or some kind of epoxy. This only really works as a deterent, and is a pain if you need to adjust stuff. If someone really wants it, they'll find a way. Your best bet is park elsewhere and ride a crappier bike - if you can't bring it inside.

Yeaaaaaah. You correcting anyone on a spelling or grammar error is pretty comical.
