I was gioing to go with a 29r but I wanted something a little more fun and versitile to play around on,plusI had a fork I needed to put on something.I also opted to stay with the current orange kick.

Nice... Could be wrong, but I swear those M4 hardrocks are pretty much the same as pre-monostay M4 stumpjumpers (pre '06)... Bit more curve on the top tube perhaps, but...

I like the orange also.
a guy here has a Black Hifi, and he's trickin' it out with this "burnt orange anno" color for parts like the top cap, levers, and bolts and stuff like that.
he wants his spokes and nipples and all that also. It's starting to look pretty cool.

I'm 5' 10' but I have a 18" inseam....:twitchy: I like a small hartail for playing around on. I'm taking it out in the morning for a long ride to break it in.

I'd still like to come up with the green for a burly 17" HT with a 6" fork for all around "bussin' out". I'd do some trail time, but I'd also like to take it downtown and jump sum stuff.:)

Man 66, I thought about that bike at work last night! ha ha I might have to get one of my own!

It a super fun bike. Ijust got in from my 1st ride on it. It corners like it's on rails. I've gotta make a couple of changes,I'm gonna put a longer seat post on it and I'm changing the time pedals for a good set of platforms.

Wait.... no "what bike should I buy" or "what size do I need" or "what upgrades should I make" thread first?

Well, I know what I want out of it, and what I want on it,and how much money I want to have in it so I'm good there. You guys feel free to chime in and give advice whenever. If I can get some advice on parts from Cheeto and some riding tips from BCIpam I should be golden.

The bike is definitely too small for you. I think you made a terrible decision. Even though I have never met you in person, I can tell that you will not be comfortable on that bike. I can't believe you had the audacity to make a decision without consulting the intertubes first. As far as petals, I can tell you which clipless you would like best. But I am not going to do so. Besides, platforms are for kids and people who need training wheels.

Yes, I said "petals". Pedals are for suckers.

I didn't want to say it before, but seeing more pics I'm compelled to say it looks flexy.
