GT Marathon Carbon Pro

Does this bike really even exist??

Does anyone actually have one in their possession?

I'm asking because I've had one in size medium on order for almost 4 months now, and still no joy.
Whenever my LBS or I call GT (Schwinn) they keep telling me it will be here next month. Well 4 months later and no bike so I am wondering if any have made it to our shores yet.
I haven't seen any posts on any of the forums nor have I seen any reviews, tests or rider pics (only pics from GT's catalog or some from a bike show).

Sooo, what's the deal?
Anyone have a clue?

Had one come through the shop I was working at this summer, as a special order. It certainly didn't take as long as yours did, but that was earlier this summer.

I've put a few short rides on it. Other than being two sizes too small for me it is a very trick bike. The suspension design is quite efficient and obviously the parts selection is very trick.

Sorry to hear you've been waiting so long, but IMO this bike is worth the wait. I doubt you'll be dissapointed (as long as you get it, of course).

I am kinda fascinated by the design, The Flexbone looks scetchy, but must work well.

If I had a little more money, I'd be getting a Force 1.0. I've ridden the 3.0 and even with the so-so components it rode pretty sweet.

Maybe next year...
