A couple days pedaling the big bike around had me worked a bit, so it was time for drastic measures.

Ditched the pack for the day, tossed a bottle cage on the SS, strapped a spare tube/lever/multi tool onto the seatpost. The small camera, mini-pump, tunes into the back of the jersey. Zoomage ensued.

The local spot. Two laps for about 14 miles total. Swung by the car to top up the bottle inbetween. Damn the humidity. That said, it felt very good to not have the dowager's hump on. Light enough to pick up a hitchhiker.

Chicken or the egg? Did breaking this result in wreckage? Or was this a result of wreckage? I think I even may have a use to put this toward.

Old habits are hard to break. Picked up two cheeseburgers from the local greasy spoon. and a small chocolate and peanut butter cake on the way home. Wolfed down the burgers, and manage a good chunk of the cake. Mmmmmm. Salt and fat and carbs and yum.

My car is a little stinky. Methinks it might be better to not leave the shoes, helmet, and armour in back all the time...and the goves. The nasty, nasty gloves of deathly odor.

Playing around last week close by Killington. Dumping rain the next day killed my plan for hitting the lifts.

Ride buddy John on the end of a fun spine roller line a couple days ago.

Leggy.

Enough pretty large hospitals within an hour drive that you'd have not too much trouble. Yeah, if you like chunky rock stuff, lots of log crossings and log rides, you'd dig trails here. Same as the hospitals - lots of good stuff close by.
