Reinstate Pete

I wish they would let Pete Rose into the hall of fame and I wish they would let our Pete back on bikeforums. They are both great in their respected areas. As long as they are kept "out" there is always someone "in" who doen's belong.

I don't care about Rose. But I enjoy having Fagerlin around. Keeps everyone honest.

PF had great photos, but was a complete ****** to anyone who crossed him. True, it takes two to tango, but he really seemed to be in it for the trolling.

I believe very strongly in free speech, and multiple points of view.

Allow him back!

If someone doesn't want to see what he has to say - don't click on the threads.

If a thread is really out of line - delete it. (which should be almost never in my opinion)

And, just because Pete Rose was stupid, shouldn't detract from the way he played, which was outstanding.

If elected supermoderator, I will see to it that the rights of ALL members are protected - not just those of the emotionally frail, the touchy feely, and the totally ignorant.

I think the applicable term is "disproportionate response".

He gets my vote. I can attest to his kindness and good humor when newbs crash in front of him on easy rock drops. Not only is he understanding, he doesn't run over them. My vote goes to the great Gastro as well.

Familiarity breeds contempt, and I happen to know everyone. As much of an ignorant, road-weenie lady-boy I am, I give you all a fine read for a rainy day.

66 says that you have wads of cash. If this is true, maybe you could bribe someone into letting Pete come back. Petewould be so appreciative, he would never call you out. Come on, be a part of the solution. Bring back Pete. You can do this.
