......I'm heading down to Re:Cycles and Gastro's place to see if I can find out what it is. I'll report my findings to the TGMBG upon my return.

Bingo. Man I flogged that thing yesterday - ovalized the headtube, flatspotted both rims, and crosschained the heck out of it. Afterwards I gave all the bearings a good dousing with WD-40 though, so it should be good to go.

Pics are in a camera westbound on Interstate 40 at this time. 66 humiliated me on my own trails, I am so ashamed. I think Girlscout really enjoyed pounding out 25 mile XC rides on his new stanky.

Gastro, I wanted to come but 66 said that I suck at riding and could not attend due to lack of skill. I am relagated to Dupont and a few easy trails in Pisgah until my skills improve. I hate I missed it. 66 is such a buzz kill.

I can assure you there was lack of skill in copious amounts. You know how we do.

But keep working hambone40. After years of total dedication and commitment one day you may be able to get close enough to the great 66 to taste his dust. You should not have allowed him to get a hardtail.

66 keeps calling me grasshopper and making me sand his porch. He even said something about having me paint his fence later this week. I am not sure what all that is about.

Have you seen him ride the orange bike while rocking the matching orange shirt? Dude looks like a lady. Girlscout refuses to ride with him now. I think that is the whole reason girlscout bought the stinky.

I'm home from G-boro. I found out what stinks and that would be my dirt jumping skills. We had an awesome time hanging out and riding with the crew. The trails are really good trails and thay did a great job making use of limited land. Super fun to ride(if you're not on a 44 pound 7" bike).Gastro was good enough to put up with us for a couple of days and made every thing super fun. There was a lot of XBox MX going down and even some bottle boarding.
We rode the new Wild Turkey trail and we hit Owls Roost along with some othe fun stuff. The cool thing about Gastro's trails are we just rode from his house. It's the first trip I have made to ride where there are not mountains and I really have a better appreciation for how lucky we are to live in such a rich mtnbiking area.
Now to the Stinky. We arrived at the super cool bikeshop/three ring circus known as ReCycles.........

Heded to Gastro's place to do a drive way test......

The Garage Door Pic.......

Girlscout gave it all he could there but he'll really get to dial it at 26 west in a week or two......

The girlscout also snagged a sweet little diddy thatwe are in the process of building up now. Anyone need an Enduro frame?

I'll respond to Hambone in another post. Right now I just want to thank Gastro for a super fun weekend of riding and chillin'chillin'. I'll be back down that way before too long.

Now to Hambone........I had the orange shirt before the orange bike. Now if you're gonna make an issue out of it you'll really dig these bad boys I picked up at wheeliemerts.......

Now don't make me bring up those purple shorts you were sporting today.......

Girlscout looks pumped! Did ya snap the headtube off the orange bike? I read all the time that it happens when you install a longer travel fork.

No not yet. I'm having this huge mental block when it comes to dirt jumps. That's what I got knocked out/banged up on earlier this year, so I really hacked it up at the zone on Saturday. I beat on the bike pretty hard(hack landings) and the head tube is still on there.

The stinky's look like great value for money, maybe not so the shock, but the rest looks pretty decent.

The shock is solid. Nost as adjustible as some others but still a good shock.

The girlscout started back to school today so I finished building the Voodoo. All I need now is cables. Thanks Gastro!
