Playing in the park is fun.....

We spent a nice September Saturday in the park today. There were lots of people to play with in the park today and lots of fun was had.I wound up going over the monkeybars and landing flat on my back. It was the strangest thing I've ever done. I took a chain saw and a shovel and made a fun log to ride on. Too bad it was slick as snot on a door knob and I totally ate crap on it.I happened to snag a few pics of the day on the playground.......

Girlscout and a friend on the DH course....

We played on a nice step up.......

A friend (Paxton) hucking a nice ladder stepdown....

Paxton and another cool guy we met(with mad style) hitting a hip.....

Girlscout and paxton boosting a road gap.....

Time for one last run......

Moving better than me. Do you know how loud a log is when you slam your head into it?

That must have been one of those moments.

You know, when anyone watching says "ooooh, that's gonna' leave a mark" whilst visibly cringing?

The front tire slid off the log. It was one of those that happened so quick the next thing I knew my head was slamming off the log.If I hadn't had a full face on I would have had some real issues. My friend said the impact was loud. He should have heard it from inside the helmet.I know I'm really stupid sore this morning.

Wow, how many injuries does that make for you this year alone? Between you and Hambone I think you should trade in your bikes for one of these and start hitting the local MUPs. There's a certain point when you should be leaving the big riding to the young 'uns.

You are correct. I suck at riding bikes. But, at least I'm not rehashing the fruity tuity wines I like to sip. Come on Santiago, man up, come to the south, and break things with the old man and me.

I had a wonderful Valpolicella with supper last night.

If all goes according to plan, I should be there in the Spring.

Those are all concussion symptoms. Seriously, go get checked out. That's not something you want to mess with.
