Does the Marzocchi shock pump only work for Marzocchi forks?

I have a 2003 Marathon SL fork, I need a shock pump for it

I'm debating whether to get a Marzocchi branded pump or get a cheaper pump with an adapter (evening the cost)

If I got the Marzocchi pump could I use it on any other forks?

Yes, just make sure to avoid the wrench force shock pump, they literally are trash.

Lil Buzzy shock pump is what I use, but easiest thing to do would be ask the mechanics in your local shop what they like.
