2007 diamondback sorento, how is it?

Picked one up on the cheap. It's nice looking, and has about 10 miles on it. It's fairly hefty but the frame seems well made. I like how it rides so far but like I said it's still pretty much new. I don't know much about MTB parts but it has shimano, the RD is acera and the fork is spinner.

Anyway I got it so I could put studded snow tires on it and use it this winter in the snow and whatnot. I was wondering how much abuse these can take, and if there is anything I need to look out for with it.

P.S. dminor I found the chain tensioner in my parts box IOU
