Removed My Front Brake Rotor

I got sick of it always rubbing. I could never get it to spin freely so today I just removed it. Who needs front brakes anyway !! My rears work just fine. Saves weight too.

I, for one, think it is great. It is like survival of the fittest right before our eyes. Have someone send us your obituary.

I use my front break more than anything. And I don't slow down ever. I don't see how you could go without.

Old habits die hard. I use my rear brake more due to my BMX background.

I'm both and I've just gotten used to the fact that one of my rotors will always rub because one is always slightly warped. I dont care.

Same here. If I wanted free spinning I'd go back to post mount brakes.

It's a new type of load-bearing decal that all manufacturers released early this year, due to defective imported steel and aluminum and most carbon. Almost all major brands were affected. If you don't apply the LBD's then you're bike is prone to catastrophically failing. I think originally the decals were available for free, but now that the warranty coverage for them is up it's around 2 or 3 bills for a set.

More like we are smart enough to think that riding offroad without a front brake is pure and simply a huge mistake that will hurt you and/or someone else. So before you call someone stupid, you may want to step back for a minute and actually think.

A little factoid here:

Once the rear brake is engaged it loses 50-70% of it's power due to weight transfer and rolling momentum, the front is there to stop you, the rear is to slow you down.

Do me a favor.......

Take out a Million Dollar Life insurance policy and make me the beneficiary, because you are seriously going to kill yourself eventually riding off road with no front brake.
