I know nothing of these two forks, but I know the smile Ed got from his 32 vanilla, I think a 36 Vanilla would just give him a runaway!

I just tried to post this my for sale but it has been locked.
The newer Marz forks have just had some major quality control issues. Bad bushings, weak lowers, no customer service. I just see a lot of bad things floating around message boards. So I am going to stay clear of the newer stuff. Plus I can't afford a the $900 for a new 66.

Any problems I have seen with Marz have been with the 07+ air sprung models.

The best way I've found to see if it's one of the "good ones" as far as recent Marzocchi goes is to look at where it's made. If it says "made in Italy" you'll likely be pretty happy with it. If it says "designed in Italy," it means that it was made in Taiwan and may give you some issues.
Regardless of any of that, I'd go with the Fox. Since it's a Fox you know if was made in the U.S.A., their damping system works very well, and their products don't have a hit or miss record like Marzocchi is developing. In short... the Fox is a great fork and less of a gamble.
