bikesdirect ever going to offer a steel SS 29er?

I really liked what they did with some of the road bikes. I really liked the styling of the Jury with the internal chain tensioners. Wondering if they're going to offer up a steel SS 29er? I have the Moto Outcast 29er right now, but wanted a steel version. With disc tabs!

i'd assume because it's cheaper/easier for them to do a decent alu framed version.

that, and the market is flooded with companies coming out with variations on that.
I believe the clouds in my coffee more than the weatherman on t.v.

That's true, but I don't think it'll be that much more expensive, if at all, to produce a steel version. They can tweak a frame like the Jury (meaning, beef up) and it'd make an excellent frame. I would love something like that. Plus, if they can keep it at the ~$400 mark, they've got a great buyers market to work with.

You could always pick up a steel frame from somewhere and transfer over the components from your Outcast, then sell the Outcast frame. Kona, Salsa, Surly, Voodoo, OnOne...they all offer decent budget 29er steel frames.

jeff^d - I'm not talking about building up a bike. I am more curious as to know if BD plans on a cheap steel 29er SS in the future. Sure, I can build up a Surly, Vassago, etc., but they'd all be in the $700+ range. I'm wanting something in the same price range as the Outcast. I would like to do a nice SS 29er build next year, but would also like a beater trail bike, too. (Outcast will most likely be transformed into a strict commuter).
