That's a little harsh. I would characterize it not as a lie, but a strategem to ensure the thread got off to a good start.
Today is actually the day. Last night was the celebration. I drank a chocolate choo choo, a Tahitian Tee-Hee, and a Bourbon Bugs Blood. This morning I rode the moto out and did trailwork.
