Well...almost. (sorry...I don't have a garage to lean it up against LOL)
Hucking off the ottoman:
A view from the cockpit:
Kewl G3's:
I'm really diggin the stem. It feels good "sitting" on the bike. I haven't been able to take it out yet.
The chainline is slightly different from the other Komodo. I've read of several other people having issues with the Blackspire Blackguard. Mine is rubbing the inside of the chain a little in the top two gears, so I'm going to get some chainring spacers and move my chainline and blackguard inward a couple mm. Other than that...everything's come together pretty much as planned.
I weighed it for kicks and b/c I feel the need to use the scale that I bought with good money, haha. 30lbs 1oz. Still a lightweight.
These would have matched really well...but not worth the extra $175:

Is that a new 'Zocchi? Dang, thru axle has got to be the way.
I like the red bits. Maybe a red skewer in the rear to balance.
Now all ya gotta do is get out and start scratchin' 'er up.

Yeah, I was thinking about doing a QR15 Vanilla, but those are through the roof. This one will prob. take a pounding. It'll accept up to 2.8" front tire. I'm not going to go any bigger than 2.5". Now I gotta go beat the piss out of it.
I'm prob. not gonna spend any more coin on bling. The only reason I have a red stem is b/c I needed a stem. I would eventually like to replace my rear skewer with the bolt-on conversion for the Pro II rear hub. It's pretty slick...allen bolts screw into the axle from the ends.

Very nice. That front rotor looks tiny with that fork.

One of Ed's JRA incidents. Since he didn't have a back brake on the bike he just stomped the wheel back into a semi round shape and is still riding it that way today! JK

Well then...all is perfect and I'm ready to make my rotors glow

I didn't realize there was any riding in your area that you could make that happen. 'Round these parts we can make our rotors turn blue.

I'm having a hard time making it out - what fork is that?
