shock height for XC

What is a normal shock length (height) for XC
80mm? 100mm? 125mm?
I have a '00 Moab with a R/S Psylo and I want to use all the travel but I searched some old threads and they say the frame may have too much stress on the tube. I think it came with a 80mm shock.
I know the Moab are tough frames, but do you guys thinks I should stay under 100mm **********
thanks

i run 105mm on my moab, but will be switching down to a 80mm fork. i think ~100mm of travel will be fine for that frame.
