They get a hard time around here, but I love my Manitou Minute. You can't go wrong with a Talas though.

Your fork has probably blown an oil seal which does happen and can easily be replaced by a bike mechanic for a lot less than the cost of a new fork or if you're mechanically minded and have the right tools you could fix it yourself for even less again.

Ditto what he said. Unless your really bent on upgrading I'd suggest having a mechanic look at it. Even if you upgrade I'd get it repaired. If you intend to sell it on EBay or Craigslist you'll do better if you can say that it has a fresh service. Tell them that it's leaking oil and you'll have a hard time getting a decent price.
