Mountain Bike Trail Review - Alum Creek P1
Check out this video I made about biking at Alum Creek State Park near Columbus, OH. I wish there were videos like this reviewing other trails. Does anyone know of a site that features mountain bike trail reviews in video format? Let me know what you guys think... Is there a way to embed the video code in the forum, so that you can watch it here instead of leaving the forum on an external link?

great job....did you have any help doing this?
if there is not already a site, it would be cool to have a video review place for people to post videos of trails based on states or regions. someone should start one. i am not good with web design

I am looking for someone to do the stunts at P2. I may have someone from Columbus, but I haven't committed to anything yet. I was kind of hoping to let it get a little warmer. I'd also like someone to show me the trails in Dayton. Momba, John Bryan... Is there anything technical about them?

And to answer a previous question. I shot it all myself. It was a pain in the arse. I need a camera operator.

I just shot a videography project for school with me as one of the riders and camera operator. JB quite easy and really flowy if you go fast and Momba has something for everyone. But IMO the best place around here is ceasers creek. Those trails are fun. A number of 2+ foot drops with some woop-d-doos and techy down hills and up hills.

specifically, JB is easy with a few a good number of log overs and ramps (all have ride arounds). Flowy and fun at a fast clip. Momba is really flowy and fairly easy (except for the "experts" section). The experts section has a bunch of rocks and a number of sections that require just the right speed. Ceasers creek can be challenging, but I think the drops can be ridden around. The only problem is the hills, a couple of which can not be ridden up due a combo of roots and steepness.

Do you have your video posted anywhere?
Ceasar's Creek is pretty sweet. I rode there this summer twice. I raced there with OMBC. There are some pretty cool descents there.

I'll post it under the daily ride reports when I have it finished. Not all of the footage will be from CC, but some is. Where are you at? Near Columbus?

I live in Columbus. Alum is the only place that I can conveniently ride, so I go there a lot.
