$100 - 1999 Rocky Mountain Hammer Race. Putting a rigid surly 1x1 fork on it cost more than the bike did.

His Jamis Komodo, which he aptly renamed "Commode" . . . then shortened down even further.

It's not all that bad, really. It's a 2.1" Kevlar folder. It handles like crap though. All that tire wants to do is go straight. I've got some 2.1" FireXCPro's on there right now.

EP's ftw...

Mine should have cost close to $4k but was significantly less working in a shop and finding various deals.

Having nice bikes is alot easier when you have no life/no other hobbies to waste money on

Sure, but 6 months bike shop salary is about 1 month real salary.. so you are actually spending way more as a percent of total income.

It's all relative at that age, isn't it? That's a 'salary;' top ramen is 'food;' and a PBR at the end of a long, hot ride is a 'reward.'

a PBR is only a 'reward' when its 'illegal'.. maybe theyre young enough to fall into that category..

Trek Fuel Ex 8
$2300

WORTH EVERY PENNY

perfect bike for me, and you can lock the shocks for when on pavement and want to go fast

only problem would be that getting 3-4 foot air might untrue the wheels but pffffffffffffffffff!

still on credit and not a cent paid!

that will change soon, come april 17th! otherwise it's 30% interest LOL!
