GT Avalanche 2.0 Opinions
 

Just ordered a 2008 GT Avalanche 2.0 hyd/disc for my son as a birthday present and just wanted to get some feedback from 2.0 owners as to likes and dislikes. Been shopping for a couple months and had looked at the Iron Horse Warrior 5.0. Trek, Specialized, Kona (Cider Cone) Gary Fisher all in the $500 -$800 range.Performance had them on sale at just under $500 delivered and based on the specs seems to be a pretty good value. We mainly do a lot of single track riding with an occasional 1-2' drop. He's a pretty lightweight at 85lbs.Just looking for some thoughts, moving him up out of his Haro V2.
