Jesus would not ride a HT - - spawn of da debbil that they are. He would ride air FS - - just air; no shocks
In answer to your question, though, he rocks Revolution 32s or Syncros DPS 32s. All depends on who he's hangin' with; if it's mortal peeps, the Revs, if it's archangels the DPSs. I asked him. He told me.
He confided though that he is secretly partial to Halo Combats - - especially the gold ones - - because of the the obvious connotations GOLD HALOS (and the fact that he could do a 48-spoke monster).

2. See 1
3. Heavy, probably rebranded Suns or something
3. See 1 & 2
4. Maybe, I've heard they're buttery soft and prone to deformation but I have no first hand experience
5. Far and away better than any Sun or Transition rim in fit, finish, durability, and ultimate strength. Tons of firsthand experience here.
5a. 721's are lighter & narrower, lots of DH racer types love em.
6. Consider Bombshell

LOL! Nice catch. I'd never ride tubs. Too much broken glass, fire, brimstone, etc. on my rides. On a side note, I'm happy to offer all bikeforums members a special set of tires that will never wear out, never go flat and have no rolling resistance. You just have to sign on the dotted line and they're yours for eternity...

So are you drawing any conclusions Ed -- or are you going to agonize for weeks over this one purchase just like all the rest?

Leaning toward the 729 though b/c of all of the 100% stellar reviews from CRAP.com, Gastro, and other places. They can't all be wrong.

Still kicking.
I'd do the 721's.

721's have a rim braking surface...I like the "disc only" setup.
I prefer to limit myself for the sake of vanity and aesthetics.
Also...aren't they only 28mm?
I'm looking at 32+

Wider the rim, the more prone to flat spotting the rim is.
Plus you can get the 721's in black with a black sidewall.

I put some Mavic rims on my Big Dummy. I use my Big Dummy to go grocery shopping. I've bought fish on some of my grocery runs. The fish is a Jesus symbol. Enough said.

That is incredible logic. I think I'm going to sell my perfectly forte brand rear wheel and replace it with a mavic.

My front MTX is holding up quite well, despite a few hard landings. Next wheels for me though will consist of EX721 rims and I9 hubs.
