I seriously agree with this. Though it has more to do with improving your technical skills.

I would add if you don't have to wipe DOWN after, you probably aren't riding hard enough.

My lap this morning was 5.1 miles, rolling single track, 8:30 am @ 29 degrees. My average HR was 170 with a high of 186

I was toast after one lap. Bested my best time of 42.58m

Record is 25 min.
