Thinking about getting Niner's "WFO 9"...

I'm thinking about getting Niner's "WFO 9" when it becomes available sometime this year. (No I don't work for Niner.)

See https://www.ninerbikes.com/widefullop...letter_wfo.pdf for more info. Purportedly it's one of the first 29er all-mountain MTBs. I'm planning on using it for aggressive XC and some limited bike park duty (I live in southwest Colorado, where it's not tough finding knarley terrain). My current MTB is a Trek Fuel Ex 6 that I've modified extensively, but will become the Mrs's bike once I upgrade.

Anyone have any thoughts, comments, reservations, suggestions, etc. about this bike??? What are the pros and cons? (I know it'll likely be $4k+). Any ideas in terms of ideal componentry?

Also look into Lenzport's offerings (they have several versions of 5inch 29ers, and a 6 incher as well). Lots of talk about this sort of stuff in the 29er and Niner bikes sections of mtbr.com
