ok...i'm not meaning for this to become an argument thread, but here's my deal. i grew up riding dirtbikes and bmx. just started riding again this past october and picked myself up a cyclocross bike. love it. but sometimes you want to bomb a hill rather than pick your way down it, so i want to get a mountain bike now as well. i've narrowed it down to the force 1.0 and mission 2.....mostly based on the fact that i can pro deal one of the two for about the same price and component wise it looks about like what i want/would use it for (socal local trails and 1 or 2 trips a year to mammoth). riding bmx back in the day i never respected diamondback, but hear good things about them now, and gt was good back then, but hear otherwise lately.

if anyone has personal experience with these please give me your honest opinion. i've read multiple reviews, but they always seem like they dont want to say anything bad cause the test group wants another one next year and is afraid they wont get one if they trash it haha.
