MTB information
I found this bike at a thrift store today ($45), and grabbed it. It's a 15speed MTB. At first I thought it was a TREK Antelope, but it's not. The actual brand is 'Antilope', and the model is 'Mountain Bike'.
First post here, but a member of another bike forum....
So, I was hoping if someone could give me some info on it (I've Googled pages and pages, but nothing).
* A Viscount seat
* Nervar cranks (Made in France)
* Rigida rims (26"...Made in France)
Where the Trek logo would normally be on the neck, there is simply an image of an antelope, with the word Antilope" (with an 'i')
-------
Thanks in advance if anyone knows where and when/where this beast was mfg'd.

Why did you buy it? Not much of a mountain bike despite the designation on the frame. Pretty dang old, probably mid-late 80s, but never heard of the brand. A brief google came up with this link, supposedly there's some reference in there to a Netherlands brand called Antilope...https://www.ibike.org/library/history-museum.htm
