hmm i read this as "i need this [rear shock] on my komodo", and I feel like I should start some "yeah i bet you wish you had a full suspension" or "wait you are a rear suspesion get off that komodo you don't even fit" Meh

Your sentence doesn't make sense to me. If you need it explained:

It looks like a large chunk of equipment for a "trail bike" or "endurance race" sorta thing. When I first saw it...I thought it was a DH application. Pretty slik though.

What does it actually do?

I mean, aside from all the usual moving up and down, rebound adjust, etc.

That is found on the Scott Genius bikes. It offers 150mm of rear travel and three traction control settings which can be adjusted from the handle bar. Its also extremely light at 410 grams. Meant for long distance racing and touring. Wish I had a couple grand sitting around
