Ever heard of Harbor Frieght Tools? Bad, Bad, Store!

Kinda like a candy store for XY chromosoners!

Don't know if they are a national chain, but they sell tools that are generic brands, special purchases and refurbished tools from big name brands.

I just bought a freestanding 20 gallon parts washer with a recirculating pump on sale for $69.00!

I'm having a Love/Hate relationship with that store. I love all the cool things I can buy and Hate that I don't have enough money!

Yeah, Harbor Freight is national. We've got one here in Portland only about 2 miles from my school, plus they do a lot of mail order. While the quality on the generic brands is sometimes questionable, the price is unbeatable! The Pittsburg hand tools are a great deal too. We keep them in our tractor tool boxes because it's no big loss if they get lost in the fields or rust and the quality is high enough to get the job done.

One warning though, don't bother with the Chicago Electric brand power tools for any heavy or long term use. I guess you could call them X-mart tools: they're fine for some people, but not for any serious riders...err, users
