V-rated.

Seriously, what type of riding and/or what kind of width do you prefer to run? This will make a big difference in the recommendationas you will get.

nah go Z rated, low profile.

i find my self going faster with aggressive tires than fast tracks, its a confidence thing.

maxxis makes some groovy tires with almost flat treads and knobs nearer to the sidewalls, its a good comprimize

Maxxis Crossmarks are nice and fast rolling a GREAT rear tire. probably a good front tire too.

Maxxis Highrollers are good too.

get the 26 x 2.1

I like the Ignitor for more off road single track adventure as well as the ADvantage or Ardent.

for much more street style tire check the bargin priced overdrive

Specialized Crossroads Armadillo. Best multi-purpose tire there is.

Very fast rolling, can take 80psi, virtually puncture proof.

Air down to 35-40psi and can handle light trail use. Not so good in sand/gravel.

I've had a pair on my monocog for two years of daily riding -- plenty of tread left, and I've repaired 3 flats in 2 years of urban/mountain riding.

Can't recommend enough. Hope that helps.

i dont have a recommendation but dont get Bontragers.

i've used my ACX for about half a year and got more than 8 flats. Plus, the tread wear's off REEEL fast.

Kenda Smallblock 8 grips like a sunny'gun on dry surfaces. The 2.1" and down is really light. Rolling resistance is nonexistant. They wear long.
