Eccentric Hub w/ Cassette Freehub

Chris King and White Industries need to team up and make the ultimate singlespeed hub.

I recently converted my hardtail to singlespeed and I think I want to ditch the tensioner. I'm worried about the chainline I'll be stuck with if I use a freewheel though. Anyone care to comment on their chainlines from a freewheel on a SS-specific hub with a triple crankset? Anyone have issues?

I'll have to take pictures of the goofy BB-mounted chain tensioner I made from an E-type derailleur mount.

now that would be an expensive hub (but yeah good point freewheel on a $170 hub is lame)

you may be able to ditch the tentioner by doing some filing and using a half link or somthin,

my ss road bike just uses spacers on a 9spd freehub body to keep chainline to my triple cranks (with only one ring on now of course) but a dishless wheel seems unnessassary on a ss to me since it won't take the same kind of abuse as a full squish, (yes i know some people shred pretty hard on a ss but still...), I mean if u've got the cash yay, but i don't think runing spacers is a big deal

Well, I can't get the tension right with a half-link and I don't want to file my dropouts.
