First post! Looking for a 1" suspension fork...

Got a great deal on a near mint Cannondale M200SE. I'd like to soften up the front end with a suspension fork but I can't find these. If anyone has one or knows where I could get one I'd appreciate it. The steer tube is 7" and is threaded.
Thanks

Hello and welcome. Finding a threaded sus fork is going to be tough. If the steer tube is 1" diameter and threaded you are probably going to end up with something used and obsolete.

If you are really jonesing for suspension it might be a better bet to flip the bike to a vintage freak and save up a little more cash for a more modern bike. Just my 2 cents.

Whatever you do, keep riding!

For what it's worth, you may still be able to order RST Capa or Gila models through your LBS via QBP. Quality also stocked a 1" threaded steerer for these forks (steerer was interchangeable).

But I still like OSB's advice above better.

QBP does indeed have them dminor. I stand corrected, but still recommend the OP get something more current.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I knew this was obsolete when I got it but it's freaking near mint and the red paint is near perfect...too mesmerizing to pass up! It was literally the bike the old lady down the street rode twice a month...she was tall too cause the top bar is 32" high.
I'll look into RST forks dminor... never heard of QBP but I'll check them out too. I certainly won't be doing any real jumping on this. At the most I'll put panniers on and ride along established trails for camping trips. I just wanted a bit of cushion for the occasional bump.
This is a great forum, I appreciate all the help!

QBP is a distributor that the vast majority of LBS deal with.
