700x38 tires... need to be replaced
I have been reading all over the place to try to find a good tire that will work for me. I want a more aggressive treaded tire, but I'm not sure how big I can go. The fork on the front is pretty small and I want to make sure if I order a tire, that once mounted, it won't rub on the fork. The specks of the tire I have now is 700x38... How deep of tread can I go? Any help?

what frame do you have? also a 700c sized tire/rim is more of the road size, so you may wanna check with the guys in the cyclocross forums
also just measure your frame clearance (calipers are best) to figure out what the max clearance is, then take off like 8mm or so for error margin/wheel flex and that would be the absolute max size tire (even 4mm on each side is a pretty tight fit), don't forget to measure both teh seat and chain stays for the rear wheel
