DirtJump Bike for regular mnt biking?

I snatched a frame and fork really cheap. Good build quality, new fork .... hard to pass up. Problem? Maybe, it's a dirt jump frame. You know the weird 26" bmx bikes. Just wondering if with a nice tall seat post and proper stem it will be alright for some light trail riding?

Sorry for the odd question. :twitchy:

I don't know man. Those have like 13in seat tube. I guess it depends on how tall you are and what you consider trail riding.

Edit. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pick it up for? You may be able to flip the frame for small profit and pick up something a different frame (shill alert) like a Sette Reken from price point they are dirt cheap and really good frames.

So I guess the proper question is, can I get a big enough seat post. I've seen 400 mm, how much of that is going to be use able?
