Finding New Trails

Hello everyone,

Totally new to mountain biking. How to find trails and cool places for biking in my area other than trail.com? I'm in Sacramento and there are not many places for mountain bikers.

i beileve theres 30-40 miles of trail along the river there in Sacramento. Your best bet would be to scout out the Bay Area mountains about 100 miles southish of Sacramento.

the other sight.
Rhymes with mtbr.kom. they have trail reviews, with listing by state, etc.
all the reviews, including the directions to the trails, should be taken with a grain of salt. These are user-generated reviews.

Here's a listing of almost all the closest trails local to Sacramento (to the East anyway..I haven't covered the Bay yet but will add Rockville and Annadel shortly)

Thank you everyone. MTBR looks nice and I found another site sigletracks.com that's even better. Found some really cool trails in Auburn and Folsom. We're hitting Auburn this Sunday

Devin
P.S. Tnx Big Wheel. That site is cool too
