Point Mugu - Sycamore Canyon..need tips
Hello Guys,
I'm fairly new to mountain biking and have taken the Sycamore Canyon fire road trails a couple of times already. I always start at the PCH trailhead up to the Blacktop Hill.
I know there are so many trails around around Point Mugu park and would like to try other trails. Anybody have any suggestions for a not so difficult trail that a beginner to intermediate rider can tackle? And probably easy to navigate and slim chances of getting lost as I ride alone.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Where's Point Mugu/Sycamore Canyon???
You'd probably get more responses if you post in the appropriate forum in "Regional Discussions"

Rather than name a trail for you, take a look at this page: https://www.venturacountytrails.org/T...AreaTrails.htm
Great description of all the trails in Point Mugu/Syc Cyn from easy to difficult. I used to ride there all the time and there are tons of ways to get around and this map is excellent. You can also try to hook up with the North Ranch MTN Bikers, nrmbc.org. They are a local group that rides all around the Ventura/LA county areas, including Syc Cyn.
Enjoy
