what do you do?

when people come and have a fun time at our local jumps (which me and my 2 other friends built) its all good, but when they come and break down the jump to half the size so they can just go of it what do i do, ive caught them in the act but when i leave they do it again, its really annoying, and they often leave the landings busted with big chunks of dirt out, i cant really ban them because no one is their all the time to make sure they dont come, i think i might make all the jumps table top so you dont have to clear the whole things and just work your way up, what do you guys think? Anyway ill post up some pics of our jump spots if you guys want to see what they look like, just let me know, but please list some ideas, these guys are also bigger so i cant exactly start a brawl either, they come in big groups of 10 and so, im a big guy and some of my friends are but 10 on 3-4 aint pretty so please list some ideas.

breaking them down to half the size is better than completely ruining the jumps with a bull dozer (happened to our local jumps) if its private property you could fence it off i suppose, if not, then im not sure what else you could do. bring more of your biker friends and start a turf war

try paintball guns, or slingshots and marbles. Guerrilla warfare. You should make a homemade bomb (link banned by The Man) and plant it in the tabletop you're thinking of making with a detonation device.

take a couple of shotgun shells, pack with 1/4 load of powder, fill rest with rock salt, take aim and fire.

hey it worked for the orchard owners around here dealing with the atv riders.

well i talked to the other local guys and we got a turf war going, we made the jumps bigger and table to so they can try if they want and made a smaller jumper for them, hopefully they will stop or were going to start a brawl, since theirs aound 10 of them im going to get around 25 people to come, if they dont stop, and as for mbiker66 im sure you are, but please put up a vid of you going off 20 foot jumps, id like to c u live up to your word, but anyway im just playing, ive been biking for 1 month and dont want @$$h0le$ ruining the fun, also just to get it out their i ate $hit today, hurt a lot, 5 foot drop plus 7 foot gap within 7 feet of each other = stretcher. Just wanted to put that out their.

I must say, an inappropriate post and link to give to a very young person. The link is for a pipe bomb. For some reason the video did not load, hopefully it will not load for anyone else.

mbiker33-

Good idea to build the jump even bigger!

How about building some additional, smaller jumps for folks who want to start smaller? Is there room? Would be kind of a goodwill gesture, too. Just a thought.

i made smaller jumps and hey, this a very appropriate quate, its the real world and im not that young geez, compared to mountainbiker66 alteast, (him being 2wice me) and its all in good fun, i would shoot them with paintballs or ect. i think ill post some pics up later this weak, but the rain is going to make us have to rebuild the jumps for they will go smaller but building them is apart of the experience. Also today i found another cool spot for jumps. And im also stoked for sunday, planned to bike and hit some jumps all day and hopefully with my new bike being my birthday

Make up some technicality where they can be written up for vandalism. Also, When you build the jumps, pack them in crazy hard and let them bake for a long time. Trust me when I say this, if people have to work to get a jump cut down, they wont do it.

Hey there, sonny-

If one 'dulls down' with age, with your language skills, by the time you hit 66's age, you're gonna be a vegetable!

Hell, then at my geezer age of 56, I should have been deceased already.

srry didn't know it was english 101 but anyway dont have access to concrete, but that would be cool, anyway just going to see what they do and if they dont stop its time for a brawl, but i think were going to put wood on the jumps and put a few inches of dirt and pack it down nicely, but i am sorta hoping that it doesn't come to a brawl because if the police get involved were probably going to get the jumps torn down. And from experience any fight with over 5 on 5 get the cops on you every time so hopefully we don't end up losing them.

I'm so proud of the up-and-coming generation that's going to make this world a better place to live.

If people could use their brains and communications skills...we wouldn't have to resort to posting street-fight ghey crap on youtube.

Maybe if you all got together, gave the ego's a bit of a rest, and communicated you could collectively build some sort of a small jump park with all of the elements that would fill the needs of the entire group.

Instead of walking into the situation all pissed off...take the emotions down a notch...clear your mind...and say something like "Hey man...we spend alot of time building and it keeps getting torn down. Maybe we can all build a rad set of lines for everyone to enjoy." Heck man you could probably teach the little nooblets a thing or two about jumping while you're at it. Could be the start of a beautiful thing.

This is the most ridiculous thread I've ever read on here... shooting people, building bombs, and starting a brawl.

Is this private property? Get them arrested. If its public property, they have just as much rights to knock it down as you do to build it. Maybe you should try talking to them instead of fighting.

i didnt say anything about shooting or bombing them in anyway, they were the ones who said put up or shut the **** up after i tried to sort things, their is a couple of smaller jumps so i dont see why they would tear up the bigger jumps, i actually tried to talk with them but they were di***. yeah im not the nicest guy around and i am a pain in the @$$ but no need for what their doing, im still a noob at biking (1 month only) but i asked questions to the local guys and made some friends because i figured it would help me out, it did so i just dont really see why the he'll these guys are total dic** and they talk trash a lot when they suck. im sry but im lost in all the logic.
